Hey everyone! Who likes magazines? And craft books!? I do! Especially design and interior mags, because I want to be an interior designer when I'm older! I love looking through all of my old magazines when I'm bored, it can be so inspiring! At one point I had a small visual journal that I would use to keep cuttings of pictures from my mags, like pieces of furniture, pictures of rooms I love, different colour combinations and wallpapers. Some of the pages were all colour themed so for example only pink related things could be stuck on that page, and some pages I used to put lots of pics together that I thought would all look nice in a room together! So for today, this post is all about magazines and craft books I love, and want. To recommend to you!

I love love love Frankie! Its so inspiring, and its about lots of things, so you never get bored reading it! And some of our family's friends own shops and have big advertisements in it! You can also find out about new cafes, places, designers, and awesome people! There's also some beautiful photography in it! If your looking for a new monthly magazine, I suggest this!

Inside out is a very popular, stylish, interior design, Australian magazine, what I love most about it is the great colour combos and different styles they have in there photos! My only problem with it is it makes me wanna spend so much money!! Lol

Real living has to be my most favourite magazine evaaaaaaa! I almost feel like I wrote the magazine! The style and layout is exactly what I would do, and what I like! I have gotten so many ideas for my room from reading it!

I got the second issue of spaces by Frankie magazine for Christmas last year, and I love it! Spaces is quite a thick interior design book, so far, there's only two issues because its a pretty big book, and its so cool! Unlike interior magazines where you see pics of "set up" rooms, in spaces, you get to see pictures of your favourite designers houses!! E.g. beci orpin, Kirby Lawler, and you get to find out about new people and there personalities! And get this! If you've heard of my favourite bed linen company, "kip & co" which you might of, I found out that one of the owners lives really close to my fathers property in point lonsdale!!

5: make and do (craft book)
Make and do is one of the best craft books I've ever read! Its by beci orpin (an Australian graphic designer I love!) She's written all up 3 craft books! But she's also been in real living and other magazines and books like spaces! I've actually meet beci a couple of times, and she's soooo nice! One of the times I met her I was doing a workshop with her! But the good thing about her books is that its also kinda a biography in a way, its about her and her life, hobbies and family! (Oh and her craft projects are really cute and easy)

This was yet another Christmas present from last year! Its also by Frankie magazine! Its got 24 super cool projects to decorate your home, outfit, and backyard! And all projects are done by famous designers!
